Welcome to our online space.  Students, now there's no need to worry about missed assignments or any confusion that may arise pertaining to our goals and objectives.  Parents and interested others are welcome to browse these pages and navigate through cyber-space with us - there's always room for one more passenger . . .

September  - Welcome to the Wonderful World of Technology!

In the next couple of days you will find ALL the paperwork for our Term 1 project here.  You are going to create a web site.

In the meantime . . . Our first "real" task is to create a blog using the free blog provider - Blogger.  They are located here:  http://www.blogger.com.  This is a great tool and will come in handy when you evaluate your final project .

TASK 1

  1. 1.  Please watch the video below and see just how easy it is to create your own blog.

  2. 2.  Create your own blog.

  3. 3.  Write a reflection.  The purpose of the reflection is to THINK about WHAT you are doing and WHY you are doing it. (The kinds of questions that you want to ask yourself are:  Was it easy/difficult to follow the steps and create a blog?  Was it fun/cool/stupid?  Will this method of reflecting prove more useful than others that I have used in the past? Explain what difficulties you are having . You are not limited to these specific questions and I encourage you to go much further than this - it will count toward your grade for engagement).

  4.

  5. You will be EXPECTED to write reflections at the end of each class period.  I will personally  visit each and every blog ;-) to add encouragement (I love blogging!).  Feel free to personalize your blog - it's fun!

  6.

  7. Let's get started!
